Small Block Mopar LA Edelbrock Heads - Level 1 Ported

Our Level 1 ported Edelbrock heads are a great value for your dollar. You receive all the features that Edelbrock includes, plus our Level 1 port work. The porting consists of a competition valve job on both intake and exhaust. The intake port receives a reshaped short turn, chamber deshroud, opening of the pushrod pinch (about an inch into the port), head bolt bulge minimized, a back cut on the intake valve and a blending of valve job into the port. The exhaust receives a blending from the valve job into the port. We also give the guides a resize as the guide clearance can be a little tight.   

We also have a couple of options for the heads. We find the valve springs to be a little light for some performance cams. We have a spring upgrade available which will give you 130# seat pressure and 325# at .580" lift. You can also opt for an inconel exhaust valve for forced induction applications. This is for boost levels that will exceed 15 lbs. of boost. The heads can also be decked to boost the compression ratio.
